During their studies in the Graphic Design program, students learn to work with the visual world. They acquire a range of skills, such as how to create posters, illustrate stories, typeset books, design websites, and create their own fonts. We focus on ensuring that our students are not only proficient in various computer programs but also gain skills in drawing, painting, photography, graphic arts techniques, and more.
Visual Identity Designs for the "Zavolíme" Project
Students in their 3rd and 4th years of the Graphic Design program had a great opportunity to participate in creating the graphic identity for the presidential election debate. Students took advantage of this opportunity by designing the brand and visual style for the student project Zavolíme! They presented their designs in person at the Smíchov Secondary Industrial School and Gymnasium under professional conditions. The design that stood out most was created by Barbora Vagnerová, a 4th-year Graphic Design student, who finalized the design. Her work was featured on national television.
