This field is suitable for those interested in designing furniture or creating interior visualisations. Students will gain knowledge of various technological processes and how to work with a variety of materials (paper, wood, metal, glass). They will also develop skills in drawing, painting, photography, and computer graphics, among others. The ability to design and create professionally-looking visualisations using computer software is a significant advantage for future careers.

The curriculum includes theoretical knowledge in creating technical drawings, construction and project documentation, art history, design history, as well as basics of marketing and economics.

Specialised subjects are taught in specialised classrooms and workrooms. Our workrooms are equipped with professional machinery (e.g., engraving laser, 3D printer). We ensure that students always have the opportunity to work with modern equipment and tools. Students will receive free licenses for Adobe software for use both at school and at home.

WHAT CAN STUDENTS EXPECT DURING THEIR STUDIES?

LANGUAGE STUDIES

Students can study up to 3 foreign languages (options include English, German, French, Spanish, Russian, and Portuguese):

1st foreign language – proficiency level B1–B2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR)
2nd foreign language – proficiency level B1 according to CEFR

Students can earn certificates from the international exams FIRST (B2) and PET (B1) during their studies, which can help in the university admissions process and enhance their prospects in the job market. These certificates can also substitute some parts of the graduation exam in English.

Students have the opportunity to participate in numerous projects and competitions in the foreign languages taught at the school. They regularly succeed in regional and national rounds designed for the best language learners from secondary schools and vocational schools. Some interesting opportunities include the KONTEXT regional competition, which focuses on comprehension of specialised English texts, and the Juvenes Translatores competition for young translation talents within the European Union.
